Dr. Mark McCoy, DMD
Dr. McCoy was born in Lansing, Michigan, but grew up in Columbia, SC where he graduated from Spring Valley High School. After receiving a B.S. in Animal Science from Clemson University in 1994, he went on to earn his DMD degree in 1999 from the Medical University of South Carolina. He started working in Myrtle Beach in 1999 where he eventually opened his office in Carolina Forest in 2003.
He is married and lives in Litchfield with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys his free time working on his farm where he maintains horses, beef cattle, chickens, and honey bees. He enjoys hunting, fishing, collecting antiques, and actively participating in civil war reenactments.
Dr. Allen Helsel, DMD
Dr. Allen Helsel is a native of Myrtle Beach and graduated from Myrtle Beach High School. He received his B.S. in Biology at the College of Charleston and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Helsel is a member of the ADA, SCDA, AGD, and the Grand Strand Dental Society.
He and his wife, Jersey enjoy spending time with their son, traveling, playing golf, exercising, and spending time at the beach.
